You can choose between Basic Search and Full Search scopes to create the search experience which best suits your firm. These setting will apply globally for all users and saved views.
By default, your Directories will be set to Basic Search.
Basic Search
The Basic Search option will limit the search scope to the following fields, based on the type of directory:

Employee Directory | Employee Name |
Project Directory | Project Name, Project Number, Client Name |
Company Directory | Company Name |
Contact Directory | Contact Name, Company Name |
Opportunity Directory | Opportunity Name, Opportunity Number, Client Name |
Full Search
The Full Search option will search all mapped and custom fields.
