Creating Hashtags

Create a new hashtag within the post body

  1. Click Share Something to open the Post Editor.
  2. From the content section of the Post Editor, type # followed by the hashtag text.

Create a new hashtag in the tags section of the post

  1. Click Share Something to open the Post Editor.
  2. Enter the title and content of the post and click Publish.
  3. From the Review Post Details screen, type the hashtag text in the Tags field and press Enter.

Create a new hashtag via hashtag administration (Site Administrators)

  1. Click the Settings Cog.
  2. Select Hashtag Administration under Posts.
  3. Click the hashtag administration options ellipsis.
  4. Select Create Hashtags.
  5. Enter a hashtag and press Enter.
  6. Repeat as desired for additional hashtags.
  7. Click Create Hashtag(s).
