Deleting and Restoring a Module

Deleting a module also deletes all of the lessons and quizzes inside it. Deleted modules and their contents can be restored from Deleted Items.

Delete a module:

  1. Open the course and click the Course Builder icon in the utility bar.

  2. Click the module options ellipsis and select Delete.

  3. Review the lessons and quizzes listed in the Delete Module? dialog.

  4. Enter the module name to confirm and click Delete Module.

Deleted modules and their contents move to the Course Builder's Deleted Items and are permanently deleted according to your firm's Deleted Item Retention Policy.

Restore a module:

Restoring a module does not automatically restore its contents. Restore the module first, then restore the lessons and quizzes to return them to the module.

  1. Open the course and click the Course Builder icon in the utility bar.

  2. Click Deleted Items.

  3. Click the options ellipsis next to the module and select Restore.

  4. Repeat for each lesson and quiz that was inside the module.

Note: If you restore lessons or quizzes before restoring their module, they return to the top level of the course, and the restored module will remain empty. You can drag and drop the lessons and quizzes back into the module.
